What makes in-home holiday sessions special?
We bring the studio to you! No need to pack up the family or battle the holiday rush—we come to your home, saving you time and hassle. Plus, your unique decor adds a personal touch you won’t get with generic backdrops.
What if my home isn’t “photo-ready”?
Don’t stress! We’ll help select the best spots, like near the tree, fireplace, or another festive area. Simple touches can make all the difference!
How does payment work?
To secure your session, a $100 non-refundable retainer is required at booking. The remaining $150 is due at the time of our arrival. We accept cash, check, or Venmo for your convenience.
Why is the $100 retainer non-refundable?
The retainer secures your time slot and covers planning and preparation to deliver the best experience possible. If we book your slot, we cannot book that time with someone else.
Can we include pets?
Absolutely! Your furry friends are more than welcome to join the fun.
What if we need to reschedule?
Life happens! You can reschedule once for free if you notify me at least 48 hours in advance.
How do I prepare for the session?
Tidy up the areas to be photographed, focus on natural light by opening curtains, and relax! I’ll handle the rest to make it stress-free.
What should we wear?
Choose outfits that coordinate without being overly “matchy.” Cozy sweaters, holiday PJs, or classic neutrals work perfectly! Avoid large logos or busy prints to keep the focus on your family.
When will we get our photos?
Your 15-20 edited photos will be delivered digitally within 5 days. Need them sooner? Rush delivery is available for $50.
What happens if my kids don’t cooperate?
We’ve got plenty of experience working with energetic little ones! The session will be fun and flexible to capture their best moments. If you have their favorite toy or song to play along, that usually works.
Can we request specific shots?
Definitely! Share your ideas in advance, and I’ll make sure to include them in your session.
What if I don’t like my photos?
We take pride in creating images you’ll love. We would love to not even get to that point. If you are really concerned about your pictures, please include some samples as a guidance of what you are looking for. We’ll discuss your vision to ensure we capture exactly what you’re looking for! If our mini session cannot cover your requirements for setup and execution, you always have an option to schedule our regular family photo shoot at $650.
